Dragon Age

Dragon Age #6 (now available)

December 8, 2010 By Aaron Johnston

The conclusion to the limited series. I know, it brings a tear to my eye, too. But seriously, this has been a thrill to work on. So many talented people have had their hands on this, including Rob Simpson, our editor at EA Comics, quite possibly the nicest guy you’ll ever meet. This one’s for you, Rob.

Thanks to all who’ve been following the series. It’s been a joy. Now hurry to a comic book store. This one’s got zing!

Dragon Age #5

October 12, 2010 By Aaron Johnston

It’s out, folks, the fifth and penultimate issue of the limited Dragon Age series published by IDW.

Click here to see a preview.

Here’s the lowdown:
Captured by the templars and revealed to be a mage, Gleam finds herself bound for the Circle Tower, the last place a wielder of magic would want to go. But templars aren’t the only danger in the woods, as Gleam must confront a monstrous spider whose venom can kill in an instant!

Ooh. Gives you the willies, don’t it? Pick it up, dragon slayers. Satisfaction guaranteed!

Dragon Age #4 cover released

July 9, 2010 By Aaron Johnston

Humberto Ramos and Edgar Delgado have done it again. This may be my favorite cover for DA yet. Love the angle. Love the coloring. And I especially like how Humberto has this big menacing templar (Sadatt) wielding this massive sword among these casually falling leaves. Awesome.

Great review for Dragon Age #1

April 1, 2010 By Aaron Johnston

So the first review I’ve found for the first issue of Dragon Age is very positive. Many thanks to Jason Kerouac over at Panels For Pages. Jason gives the comic four stars, well actually four hurlock assassins, which is just as good as stars, I guess, only meaner. I mean, stars won’t stab you in the back and trample over your bleeding corpse like hurlocks are prone to do. Anyway check out the review. Jason calls it a “fantastic tale.” Hoorah.
